RACE- Is a LIE!

MY CONTENTION:
It is my contention that Race is a False Social Construct; nothing more than a Fraudulent Human Categorization based on skin color. Man, flat out, RACE- Is a LIE! I’m not alone in this contention:

“Race is a social construct, NOT a scientific classification." -William Edward Burghardt Du Bois (American sociologist, socialist, historian, and Pan-Africanist civil rights activist)

“The concept of race has NO GENETIC or scientific basis.” -Craig Venter (Pioneer of DNA sequencing)

“There is no such thing as race. NONE. There is just a HUMAN RACE; scientifically, anthropologically.”-Toni Morrison (American Novelist)

DEEP DIVE:
Let’s go back…and I mean, WAY-WAY back to understand the origin of this lie, before man took credit for this novel (rather diabolical) FABRICATION. Yes, it begins with the Father of the Lie- Satan, (among one of the 1st of the Most Highs angels created). He became envious of God and challenged His sovereignty.  One of the many ways he has challenged Gods supremacy was through the erroneous concept of RACE- the purpose, of course, was to disparage The Almighty and divide mankind. Satan contrived a lie provoking RACIAL IDOLATRY as a clever way of misleading the masses into worshipping self and group consciousness rather than the glorifying the Creator of the Universe. It was ingenious & EVIL- And it worked throughout the centuries causing countless atrocities and wars.

I maintain that the mere BELIEF in RACE- is a SELF-SERVING Lie that promotes the EXCLUSION & prejudice of others. It begins with the erroneous assumption that because we look ‘THIS WAY’- we are the favored flavor of the universe. WOW- how Preposterous!  For, Racism touts- because we look ‘THIS WAY’- we MUST BE superior and those who do not- MUST BE inferior. Thus, the propaganda of hatred, separatism, and the DIVISION of mankind. …Man, Satan couldn’t be prouder of himself.

INTROSPECTING QUOTES:

"No one is BORN HATING another person because of the COLOR of his skin or his background, or his religion." - This Anonymous quote emphasizes that racism is LEARNED, not inherent

None of us is responsible for the complexion of his skin. This fact of nature offers no clue to the character or quality of the person underneath.” - Marian Anderson (American Contralto & Civil Rights Pioneer)

“It is not our differences that divide us. It is our INABILITY to recognize, accept, and celebrate those DIFFERENCES.” - Audre Lorde (American Writer & Civil Rights Activist)

Diversity may be the hardest thing for a society to live with, and perhaps the MOST DANGEROUS thing for a society to be without.” - William Sloane Coffin Jr., American Chaplain

“Our ability to reach unity in diversity will be the beauty and THE TEST of our civilization.” - Mahatma Gandhi (Civil Rights Activist)

“The word ‘racism’ is like ketchup. It can be put on practically anything – and demanding EVIDENCE makes you a ‘RACIST.’ -Thomas Sowell (American economist, economic historian, and social and political commentator)

P.S. CLARITY:
Race is a manufactured social construct whereby mankind has fallen prey to misidentification, for it is based on perceived physical characteristics, while ethnicity is a social construct based on shared cultural traits like language, traditions, religion, customs, history, ancestry, or national origin. Although the two terms are often confused, race relates to physical appearance identity, whereas ethnicity relates to cultural identity.

B.P.S. SHORT STORY:
My employer transferred me from San Diego, CA to Jacksonville, FL. I was introduced to the myriads so many heard my intonation and examined my mannerisms. So, at the end of my first day, a messenger was sent to my desk to ask me 2 questions:
1. Are you married?
2. & What are you?

I promptly responded “Happily” to the first question, but as to the second- I drew a square on a yellow sticky, placed a check mark in the middle and then wrote “Other” next to it. Afterwards, I said, “Give this to all those inquiring…”

MORAL OF THE STORY:
If you are looking to find me, you won’t find me on a shelf in a Sherman Williams store. I AM NOT A COLOR…I don’t have a ‘COLOR Identity’, nor do I have a ‘Color Identity CRISIS’.  I’m a Human Being, and I’m a man. I embrace cultures, NOT COLOR. I belong to the Tribe of Mankind, called ‘HUMANITY’! It’s not about ‘Color’ folks- it’s all about ‘Consciousness’!   You feel me? …Can ya DIG IT? Then ‘Say it Loud’… from the Lookout Post.
